Science Says is a research-led consultancy and newsletter that bridges the gap between academia and the boardroom. They take convoluted, technical papers on human behavior—the kind of "golden information" usually locked behind academic jargon—and transform them into actionable marketing strategies, playbooks, and research projects.

Science Says is a startup, as such they need collaborators who cans withc between tasks and deeply understand marketing and human behavior to grow the business and turn such highly tehcnical papers into practical content. That's where I come in.
My role
As a high-growth startup, Science Says needed a collaborator who could navigate the intersection of deep cognitive science and practical digital marketing. The core challenge was maintaining scientific accuracy while making the content accessible enough for a busy marketing executive to implement immediately.

I transitioned from a dedicated reader to an integral team member, managing a hybrid role that spans product growth, content creation, and social media strategy.
Growth Sprints and Conversion Optimization
I hold ownership of our growth sprints, managing the pipeline from ideation to execution. Working alongside the founder, I prioritize experiments designed to scale our reach and optimize our conversion rates.
Lead Generation: Executing outreach, comment strategies, and targeted content campaigns.
Newsletter Redesign: Overhauling the newsletter format to improve readability and click-through rates.
Paid Media: Developing and optimizing Meta ad campaigns to drive subscriber acquisition.
Content Engineering: From Jargon to Action
Turning scientific jargon into practical content is an exercise in translation. I have developed dozens of long-form newsletter pieces and real-life case studies.
Insight Translation: I interpret research extracted by PhDs and reframe it into simple, actionable language.
Strategic Application: I supplement the science with real-world examples and optimization tips to ensure the content is both scientifically accurate and commercially viable.
Cross-Channel Consistency: I adapt these deep-dives into short-form content for social media, ensuring the core "Aha!" moment isn't lost in translation.
Social Media & Brand Presence
I managed the company’s presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok, experimenting with static posts, long-form text, and video content.
LinkedIn Strategy: By focusing on the founder’s personal accounts and the company page, I generated tens of thousands of impressions and a steady stream of new subscribers.
Platform Pivot: Through rigorous testing, we discovered that while Instagram and TikTok showed encouraging engagement, LinkedIn was the primary driver for our B2B audience. I led the strategic decision to double down on the founders' accounts to maximize ROI
